Notes from Yawn | A January week of Yawn

Hope all well with you.  We've been busy!   January was a very exciting month for Yawn.   We ventured to Paris for the international trade show "Salon De La Lingerie" - presenting our 2015 collection to the international market.   The stand looked fantastic.  Our sheepskin chairs were particularly appreciated by tired buyers looking to put their feet up for a few moments.  The response from retailers was wonderful.   Now we are finalising orders for arrival in some beautiful stores in August - here in the UK and much, much further afield!

One of the definite joys of the show was being able to enjoy Paris.

Every morning would begin with a croissant, lunch would be a 'jambon fromage baguette' on the stand and then we would eat out in the evening at a little bistro.  Our favourite meal was at Je The Me.. an atmospheric bistro with incredible French food, served by the charming (and amusing) owners.

We drank cocktails and felt very glamorous at a launch party for Wedgwood Rebel collection at Idem Studio - a historic printing studio based in Montparnasse which has worked with art greats including Matisse and Picasso.  Visit if you can.

Lots to look forward to for Yawn over the next few months - and now the sun is shining in London so in general things are looking good.   Do let us know any news you have - we are always keen to hear from customers (any other tips on great places to eat in Paris?).

Love Yawn x
